A large plume of wildfire smoke is going to cover our Michigan sky at times over the next week. This smoke does have an impact on our weather here at the ground. Yesterday I wrote how a large blanket of wildfire smoke is now moving over Michigan’s sky. The smoke will make our high sky look hazy and even cloudy. This won’t be a continuous covering of smoke. Much like clouds and rain showers there will be periods when the smoke clears and the sun is strong.
