    Dear Molly,

I am taking a road trip and staying in multiple locations. What should I pack beauty-wise?

The one essential item I would bring is a beauty pillow. Get it a few weeks before your trip, so your neck gets used to it. Motels and hotels have different sized pillows, and this can really affect a restful sleep. As a bonus, most beauty pillows have a satin or silk pillowcase, which helps eliminate facial sleep creases. My favorite is Nurse Jamie’s Beauty Bear Age Delay pillow . It’s compact, easy to pack, and comes in many shapes to ensure you get your beauty rest.

    Dear Molly,

I am traveling from LA to Europe and have long flights ahead of me. I don’t want to arrive looking like a dried peach. How do you recommend staying hydrated on a 12-hour journey?

The key to staying refreshed in flight is a great mist. It can be as simple as an Evian or Avène spray, or you can get fancier with a mini–Epicuren Protein Mist Enzyme Toner spray or Bioeffect OSA Water Mist . Consistently replenish your complexion with hydration. You cannot overdo it. No mist is too much mist. The only thing to be aware of is your airplane neighbor. You want to avoid accidentally spritzing them.

    Dear Molly,

Any recommendations for how to lighten my skin care toiletries bag while on holiday?

Wow, I can relate to this one! If I’m not careful, I’ll pack the tub. The first thing you need to do is sift through your skincare regimen and figure out your absolute essential products that make you feel good. You can downsize your containers by getting empty mini-sized bottles. I love shopping for these at Muji . To eliminate bringing cleanser altogether, instead I bring cleansing wipes when traveling. I love Koh Gen Do Cleansing Water Cloths . They even remove waterproof mascara. Skinsheet Cleansing Coins are also an excellent choice. You can use them daily as they are super compact and act as a cleanser and exfoliator.
