Wenatchee woman arrested for drug dealing
Over the last 2 months, the Columbia River Drug Task Force began researching a house in the 1100 block of Rosewood Ave in Wenatchee. Detectives had received reports of suspicious activity that indicated it was likely drugs were being sold from the residence. Neighbors were complaining of constant traffic and unusual activity. The quality of life for the citizens of this neighborhood was directly impacted.
Hit-and-run leaves pedestrian seriously injured along Highway 17
BRIDGEPORT — The Washington State Patrol says it’s investigating a hit-and-run collision in rural Okanogan County that left a pedestrian injured. Arthur M. Binford, 59, of Spokane Valley was walking on the shoulder of Highway 17 near Bridgeport early Sunday when an unknown vehicle struck him and continued on. The accident was reported about 3:45 a.m.
