NCW Libraries seeks community input for Cashmere Library redesign after relocation
CASHMERE — NCW Libraries has announced plans for a community town hall event on August 7 to discuss the relocation of the Cashmere Library to the Cashmere Riverside Center. The event, scheduled for 6:00 p.m. at the Riverside Center, will allow community members to provide feedback on potential changes to the interior library space. An interior designer from Library Forward, a firm specializing in library spaces, will give a presentation, after which participants can explore and vote on design concepts.
State Route 904 in Cheney to close both directions for repaving
CHENEY, Wash. – Both directions of State Route 904 in Cheney will close for repaving starting July 16. The closure is part of the State Route 904 Betz Road Crossing project. During the first phase, from July 16 to July 22, both directions of State Route 904 will be closed at the railroad crossing south of the Betz Road intersection. Phase two, scheduled from July 24 to July 30, will close Betz Road in both directions west of the State Route 904 intersection.
Spokane woman accused of killing ex-boyfriend to remain in jail
