    Pine Island city offers a variety of facilities for rent

    PINE ISLAND, MN - As its name suggests, Pine Island is named after a Native American phrase, Wa-zu-wee-ta, which means the Isle of Pines. Located on the banks of the Zumbro River, a lovely stretch of waterway. Today, the town's population has grown to 3,400 people, and the options for pleasure and business are abundant. Pine Island provides buildings and facilities for rent to maintain the bond and help support the community to develop.

    Pine Island Cheese Factory
    The Historic Cheese Factory is available for rent for your next gathering! It features a wide, open floor design, bathrooms, electricity, and small performance space. Many family reunions have been held at this site since there is lots of parking available, and Trailhead Park is right across the street. Opening hours are May-September at the Cheese Factory. City Hall charges $75.16 to use this historic facility, including 10 tables and around 100 seats.

    Collins Park Pavilion
    One of Pine Island's best-hidden gems! Near 420 3rd Ave NW, Collins Park has a frisbee golf course, a children's playground, toilets, and drinking water fountains. A pavilion, as well as a concrete walkway on the west that leads to the river. Enjoy the calm and serenity that this lovely park provides by jogging or relaxing on the benches! The park is open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. from May through September, weather permitting. The pavilion can be rented from City Hall for $37.58.

    Trailhead Park Pavilion
    Trailhead Park at 101 East Center Street has a playground, a gazebo, restrooms, power, water fountains, horseshoe pits, parking, and many areas to explore. A 12.5-mile paved route begins at the park's entrance. After the path in the town of Rochester, there are bathrooms, picnic tables, and plenty of parking spaces. Open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. (weather permitting) from May to September. The pavilion can be rented through City Hall for $53.69 per day.
