    A three-day golf trip in Minneapolis

    MINNEAPOLIS, MN - There has been a rich history of professional golf in the Twin Cities. The US Open was held at The Minikahda Club in 1916. In 2019, the 3M Open was a regular stop on the PGA tour.

    The Twin Cities is home to more than 20 Fortune 500 companies, and it has plenty of cultural and outdoor activities for couples. You can easily spend 3 days in Twin Cities just to golf.

    Day one, the Mystic Lake Casino Hotel features a variety of gaming options, including slot machines and live music. The resort is also home to The Meadows, which is one of the best public courses in the state.

    A lot of people who live in the Twin Cities area are captivated by the Mississippi River. So, after a round of golf, take a charter boat tour to explore the area. Or, spend an afternoon at the Mall of America.

    At night, couples can enjoy live music, movies, and gaming at Mystic Lake. Or, they can visit Target Field, home of the Minnesota Vikings.

    Day two, despite its humble name, the Chaska Town Course is a great neighbor to Hazeltine National. Designed by Arthur Hills, it's one of the most notable courses in Minnesota.

    The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum is a great place to visit in Chaska. There are over 1,100 acres of beautiful gardens in the area. If you prefer more entertainment, then visit Topgolf on the north side of town.

    On day three, there are plenty of public courses in Minnesota that have hosted major events. If you're looking for a unique course to play, consider Rush Creek or Keller.

    In the Twin Cities, there are plenty of places to end your round with a beer. Some of the most notable establishments include Surly Brewing, Day Block Brewing, and Pryes Brewing.

    In the Twin Cities, there are plenty of places to eat alfresco. From the Mississippi River to Lake Nokomis, there are plenty of options for dining on the water.
