WYOMING, MN - Parks and trails are surface-level attractions that a community might construct to bring its residents closer together. Wyoming, despite its modest size, has various parks and trails for visitors and outsiders to explore. Learn more about them right here!
1. Ashton Park
Located in a quiet neighborhood in Wyoming, Ashton Park is a popular strolling destination for families with small children. The park, which stands on the Corner of Galen, 261st Street, & Flint Trail, offer various amenities such as; picnic tables, climbing equipment, swings, slides, monkey bars, rocking horse & turtle for children to enjoy.
2. Banta Park
Stand on Fondant Avenue, South of 250th Street, Banta Park is ideal for family outings. Along with pavilion/picnic shelter, playground equipment, softball field & bleachers, picnic tables, and barbeque grill.
3. Verges Memorial Park & Playground
Located on the corner of 258th Street & Goodwin Road, Verges Memorial Park & Playground offers a wide range of attractions for people of all ages. Sand Volleyball Court, Porta-Potty, Bike rack, and many others parks equipment you can access.
4. Tolzmann Park
Laid on the Corner of 274th & Finland Avenue, Tolzmann Park is one of Wyoming's largest parks. This park is suitable for evening enjoyment with 2 ball fields, a volleyball court, picnic shelter and tables, a barbeque grill, benches, bike rack, and a paved trail.
5. Sunrise Prairie Trail
It stretches from Hugo, Minnesota, to North Branch, Minnesota. Everyone who enjoys getting some exercise outside likes to take advantage of the paved cycling and pedestrian route.
6. Lion's Park
In addition to a Pavilion, Lion's Park is a fantastic spot for family get-togethers. It has picnic tables, 2 barbeque grills, a playground, a softball field, a basketball hoop, a porta-potty, and a parking lot. You'll find it about south of Highway 22 and just west of Highway 35 in the park. Turn left into Kettle River Boulevard and then onto 263rd Street from the Wyoming Exit on Highway 35. Lions Park is located at the end of 263rd Street.
7. Hawk Meadows Trail
On the Hawk Meadows Trail, you'll find a natural outdoor setting that's ideal for hiking or just relaxing in nature. The trail stand is Near 255th Street & Granada Avenue.
8. Comfort Lake Access
Everyone has access to one of the most beautiful lakes. Comfort Lake is a DNR site located on On 260th Street, Follow Lake Access. They are providing plenty of parking lots, boat access, and porta-potty.
