Burglary And Meth Arrest Made In Ottawa
An Earlville man is back behind bars after finding trouble again. Police in Ottawa on Monday arrested 31-year-old Lynnard Farley at Walgreens for burglary and possession of methamphetamine. Farley appeared in front of a judge Tuesday and the prosecution filed petitions to revoke his pretrial release and drug court terms for 2023 felony charges of dealing meth and theft. Farley is due back in an Ottawa courtroom Wednesday afternoon.

Ottawa: OSF Postpones Next State Hearing on Regional Plan
According to Commissioner Tom Ganiere at Tuesday night's Ottawa City Council meeting, OSF has postponed the hearing about the Ottawa St. Elizabeth plan in front of the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board. Previously the Board was to hear the OSF plan on August 8. Ganiere believes this shows that OSF is willing to further its discussions with various agencies regarding the new hospital and the services that will be available in Ottawa.
Bristol Kendall Fire Protection District assist in Yorkville water rescue
The Bristol Kendall Fire Protection District reports that a child is safe after they were reported missing in the Fox River near Hydraulic Ave in Yorkville Tuesday morning. Dispatch reported a child was on a tube in the river and went missing at approximately 10:52. A Chief Officer with the BKFPD was on scene within a minute and met with a bystander who reported the child was out of the water and safe. The child was confirmed to be out of the water and was checked out by paramedics.
