Houston police await autopsy results in death of woman found on Tidwell Road
HOUSTON, Texas — Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a 63-year-old woman found at 8435 Tidwell Road on Monday afternoon. The identity and cause of death of the woman are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences, according to a press release from the Houston Police Department (HPD). HPD Homicide Division Detectives L. Patterson and N. Henderson reported that HPD patrol officers responded to a report of a deceased person at the address and found the woman unresponsive and covered by multiple blankets. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced her deceased at the scene.

Brothers charged in brutal assault and robbery in Houston
HOUSTON, Texas — Charges have been filed against two brothers in connection with the assault and robbery of a man on Washington Avenue earlier this year. Caleb Alejandro Madrigal, 26, and Tanausu Mikel Madrigal, 21, are charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon in the 486th and 337th State District Courts, respectively, according to the Houston Police Department (HPD).

Harris County DA: Houston man sentenced to 26 years for trafficking teen
HOUSTON (KIAH) – The Harris County District Attorney’s Office has sentenced 38-year-old Akeem Olajuwon Winfield of Houston to 26 years in prison for trafficking a minor. Prosecutors said in 2018 Winfield convicted a teen who had just to moved to Houston with her family, to leave the hotel she was living in and come stay with him in a different motel.
