BLAINE, Minn. — A 27-year-old Princeton man is dead after he was struck by an SUV early Saturday morning in Blaine.The Minnesota State Patrol says it happened at about 5:46 a.m. on University Avenue/Highway 47 near 85th Street.The victim was walking in the highway's southbound lanes when he was hit. The evening bite was successful. Time was also spent at Wahkon Days where the TIP trailer was on display for the public to see. Griffith responded to ATV complaints, wildlife calls, and continued working on wetland cases. District 12 — Princeton area - CO Ryan Hanna (Milaca) was on late night patrol around Mille Lacs Lake for recreational vehicle use and alcohol. Co Hanna stopped an ATV for speed and failure to stop at a stop sign. After a brief investigation, the driver was arrested for driving an ATV with a breath alcohol just shy of three times the legal limit.
