No wake order lifted for the moment
WINNEBAGO COUNTY, Ill. (WTVO) — The no wake order has been lifted as of right now. The Winnebago County Sheriff’s Facebook post said the order has been lifted but tomorrow from 6 p.m. until midnight the order will return. The order will be in effect from the Auburn Street Bridge south to the dam.

FREEPORT, Ill. (WIFR) - Freeport deals with two water main breaks and a boil water notice Tuesday. City officials notified residents around 8:30 a.m. July 2 about a water main break at the intersection of Galena Avenue and Brewster Avenue. Due to the break, the Water and Sewer Department issued a boil order. The boil order is expected to last 24 to 48 hours after water is restored.

ROCKFORD — Northern Illinois Food Bank will help provide thousands of meals to children each day this summer to keep kids from going hungry while school is out.
