BILOXI, Miss. (WLOX) - The food pantry shelves at Back Bay Mission are filled with cans and jars, but that wasn’t always the case. “We have a larger influx of individuals and families using the food pantry now more than ever,” said Dhiana Skrmetti. “In fact, I was talking with our food pantry coordinator, and she told me that today alone we had 70 people come through. That’s a lot because we normally average on 30.”
