Victors named in first Pelham Summer Bowling Neighborhood League
The inaugural Pelham Summer Bowling Neighborhood League saw local residents Rhett and Bailey Bell triumph on August 5, 2024. Organized by the Pelham Parks and Recreation, the league featured six neighborhoods participating with teams comprising two bowlers each. Over eight weeks, points were tallied, culminating in a decisive roll-off between the top teams. The High Ridge neighborhood, represented by the Bells, emerged victorious, earning them a trophy displayed at Oak Mountain Lanes. This successful league is paving the way for future seasonal competitions.
