Derrick Williams vandalizes ex-girlfriend’s property with used cat litter
40-year-old Derrick Williams, an employee of 7 Deuce Social Club, was seen vandalizing his ex-girlfriend, Ms. Cusano’s property at a Verkler Drive Apartment on July 6th. When officers arrived on the scene, they spoke with Cusano, who claimed that Williams, her ex-boyfriend, took multiple items from her property. Officers later found the items in a dumpster near the residence. Officers noticed the items were contaminated with used cat litter and other garbage. Based on the statements made and officers finding the property in a nearby dumpster, a warrant was issued. Williams was then found and taken into custody for vandalism on July 7th.
Cheyenne Jenkins jailed after being found drunk at Parkway Place Apartments
19-year-old Cheyenne Jenkins was found intoxicated at the Parkway Place Apartments on July 7th. When officers arrived, they made contact with Jenkins, who had the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from her. Jenkins was asked if she had consumed any alcohol, and she admitted that she had. Upon further investigation, officers found that Jenkins was 19 years old. Jenkins was taken into custody for public intoxication and underage drinking.
Soldier Zarria Barton flees traffic stop after speeding on Fort Campbell Boulevard
20-year-old Soldier Zarria Barton was seen speeding in a red Chevy Camaro on Fort Campbell Boulevard at 7:50 a.m. on June 24th. Officers observed her going 67mph and attempted to make a traffic stop, but they lost sight of Barton after she sped off. Through further investigation, officers received Barton’s vehicle tags and called on her for an interview. During the interview, Barton confessed that she was the driver who evaded the traffic stop and recalled the incident for officers. Barton was taken into custody for evading arrest and speeding on July 5th.
Austin Bateman assaults police officer after he’s seen dragging his sister into apartment
27-year-old Austin Bateman was involved in a domestic altercation with his sister, Ashley Bateman, while at the Solis Apartments on Needmore Road on July 5th. Officers responded to an assault occurring at the residence. When officers arrived, they could hear a female screaming, “No!” After this, officers proceeded to run upstairs and observed Austin dragging Ashley, his sister, into an apartment by her arm. Officers then instructed Austin to release Ashley, which he did. Austin proceeded to drop Ashley and began charging at the officers while screaming and cursing. Officers then grabbed Bateman by his shirt and placed him on the ground. After this, Bateman got up on his knees and swung at an officer, striking him on the left side of his chin. Bateman was then deemed the primary aggressor and was taken into custody for assault on a first responder and domestic assault.
