Pender’s Maya Dolliver commits to Sioux Falls
PENDER, Neb. (KCAU) – Pender girls basketball standout Maya Dolliver announced her commitment to continue her basketball career at the University of Sioux Falls. Dolliver has been a key piece to the Pendragons’ back-to-back state championships in Nebraska, leading the team in scoring at 13.9 points per game as a junior.

Wildcat Beach Volleyball Collects AVCA Team Academic Award
WAYNE – Following the fifth year of completion for the Wayne State College beach volleyball team, team academic success continues to be shown. According to a release from Wayne State Athletics, the Wildcat beach volleyball program was honored by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) with the AVCA Team Academic Award sponsored by INTENT.
Remsen St. Mary’s Softball drops consolation matchup with No. 2 Wayne
The Remsen St. Mary’s softball team ended their season in a consolation matchup at the state tournament with a loss to No. 2 Wayne by a score of 8-1 on Wednesday afternoon. The Hawks gave up a couple of big innings early on to the tune of two Wayne runs in the first and six Wayne runs in the third. Remsen St. Mary’s head coach Monte Harpenau says he knew that the Falcons were capable of big innings.
Rolling Hills Supply Post 43 Seniors Earn #1 Seed During Class B Area 5 Tournament
WEST POINT – As Juniors action closes outs state tournament competition on Wednesday, two days later will open Class B/C Senior Area American Legion baseball tournaments. Following a weekend meeting to set their bracket, the Class B Area 5 Tournament will be played in West Point. Class B/C Senior Area games are scheduled for Friday, July 26 – Tuesday, July 30 with a rain date set for Wednesday, July 31.
