17th Annual Chamber/United Way Golf Classic Results Announced
ANDERSON, IN—The 17th Annual Heart of Indiana United Way/Madison County Chamber of Commerce Golf Classic, presented by Community Hospital Anderson, raised over $54,000 on July 19 at Anderson Country Club. 40 teams along with more than 30 sponsors and many volunteers helped to make the day a great success. Proceeds from the Golf Classic benefit local programs supported by Heart of Indiana United Way and the Madison County Chamber that create equitable opportunities and help individuals, families and businesses thrive.
Cornhole tournament to raise funds for local youth
The Noblesville Boys & Girls Club will hold its ninth annual Cornhole Tournament at 12:30 p.m. Aug. 2 at Forest Park in Noblesville, 701 Cicero Rd. Check-in is at 11:30 a.m. The event is a double-elimination tournament, with all teams guaranteed three games. The cost is $80 per team, which includes two shirts and entry into the tournament. The fee is $100 on the day of the event.

Master Yoo Tae Kwon Do to relocate
Master Yoo Tae Kwon Do, a martial arts school with locations in Carmel, Fishers and Noblesville, will relocate to a new Noblesville location later this year. Jujin Yoo, a taekwondo director at Master Yoo, said the purpose of relocating is to move into a newer facility. The Noblesville location at 14765 Hazel Dell Crossing has been open since 2007.

Five Hamilton County golfers reached the top 10 of the Indiana Women’s Golf Association State Amateur Championship, which took place this week at The Players Club in Muncie. The three-day, 54-hole event ran from July 22 to 24 at the Woodland Trails course. Westfield’s Samantha Brown was the county’s top finisher, placing fourth with a five under par score of 211.
