Will Pennsylvania wine and spirits stores be open Fourth of July?

(WTAJ) — The Fourth of July is almost here and many Pennsylvanians will be having a barbeque — but what if you forgot the wine or your favorite made-in-PA liquor?

Over the years, Fine Wine & Good Spirits stores in Pennsylvania (FW&GS) have been opening more on Sundays and during holidays. The Fourth of July will be no exception.

This year, the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) said every FW&GS store usually open on Thursdays will be open Thursday, July 4, but you don’t want to wait too long. The PLCB added that all FW&GS stores will open at their normal time on July 4, but close at 5 p.m.
