Zayn Malik Reveals Daughter Khai's Cute Reaction To Learning He's A Singer

Khai Hadid Malik is, without a doubt, a ZAYN fan, and we think she has great music taste!

The 3-year-old, whom Malik shares with ex Gigi Hadid , recently discovered that her dad was a singer and now thinks that he sings every song that she hears.

The "PILLOWTALK" artist recently opened up about how blessed he feels to be Khai's father in an interview with Harper's Bazaar India , noting that her childhood is going by too quickly, in his opinion.

“It goes by fast! Being a father has only inspired me and made me a better human . My daughter is my whole life and has given me purpose." Malik got candid about the toddler's newfound, impressive ability to remember lyrics, despite thinking that every song on the radio is sang by her father.

"Is my baba singing?"

The artist appeared on the Zach Sang Show in May to discuss his latest record, Room Under The Stairs , offering additional details about Khai's budding musical talents, specifically the drums.

"She's not expert-level, but she's got a bit of rhythm when she's hitting the drums and stuff. You can tell that she could definitely develop that into something." While the "Stardust" standout is the musical parent, he gave props to Khai's mom for their daughter's apparent rhythm stating:

"Her mom was actually really good at Guitar Hero on the drums and I was like ‘Maybe she got that from her mom. Cause I was diabolical at it and G used to beat me all the time.' I'm the musician and she beat me at this game!"

Aside from releasing a new album, the One Direction alum enjoys soaking up precious moments with his daughter outdoors on his property in rural Pennsylvania.

"We do spend a lot of time outside. We do the gardening. She likes to camp with me. We cook outside. We fish a little bit. And she's really into it, too, so it makes it fun. Hopefully, we can create some amazing memories here."
