What do Florida State Seminoles, Pensacola Blue Wahoos and Auburn Baseball fans all have in common? They’ll be able to watch FSU and Auburn slug it out at the Blue Wahoos Stadium on Oct. 12.

The Blue Wahoos announced the match in a Facebook post on Wednesday morning.

“On Saturday, October 12, Blue Wahoos Stadium will host a fall college baseball showcase between Florida State Seminoles Baseball and Auburn Baseball,” the post wrote.

Blue Wahoos season ticket holders have access to presale tickets, but everyone else will have to wait for more information to be released in the coming weeks, along with additional information on festivities that will surround the showcase.

The game is set to begin at noon.

FSU will return to Tallahassee to host Alabama on Oct. 26 at noon ET at Dick Howser Stadium and will wrap the fall portion of the schedule with the Garnet & Gold Game on Nov. 1, the Friday before the FSU-North Carolina football game.

No other details about the showcase have been released yet.

Pensacola Mayor D.C. Reeves shared the news on his personal Facebook account. According to the post, the showcase has taken months to arrange.

“Proud to have worked for months with Florida State Seminoles Baseball and Pensacola Blue Wahoos to make this happen. As an FSU grad I hated that we haven’t had the ‘Noles in our city ballpark and now that changes October 12,” Reeves stated in the post.

“And don’t worry, it’s a bye week for both teams that Saturday!”
