Two indicted for exploiting an adult, theft by unlawful taking
Two Lebanon individuals were indicted by a Marion Grand Jury on July 8 regarding charges they exploited an adult and stole over $10,000. Tonie Fisher, and Christina Fisher, 1130 Penick Road, Lebanon, were indicted for knowingly exploiting an adult by person over $300 (Class C felony), theft by unlawful taking $10,000 or more (Class C felony), with Tonie Fisher charged with first-degree persistent felony offender, and Christina Fisher, second-degree persistent felony offender. The Grand Jury charged that these events occurred on or about October 19, 2021, through November 21, 2023. The indictment states that the duo knowingly exploited an adult, resulting in a total loss of $300 in financial or other resources or both and they unlawfully took or exercised control over movable property of another with intent to deprive another thereof, valued at $10,000 or more. Both bonds were set at $25,000 full cash with no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol, and no contact with the complaining witness.
