La Crescent, MN (KROC-AM News) - It appears a medical condition may have contributed to a spectacular car crash in southeastern Minnesota Thursday morning. A spokesperson for the La Crescent Police Department says a car went off a road and down a steep hill before crashing into the roof of the home. Ducks, moose and more will be new to Great Outdoors Center
After lots of hard work this summer, the Great Outdoors Centers will have an updated interior and plenty of new things to see at the Steele County Free Fair this year. One of the new exhibits in the building will feature the late Jim Killen of Owatonna and a number of ducks donated by Jim and his wife, Karen. The exhibit will include over a dozen ducks accompanied by identifying plaques, a Minnesota state flag, and a photo of Jim.
Albert Lea’s Marthaler Honda set to make move to Owatonna
Owatonna’s commercial growth continues as a new car dealership is slated to open on the north side of town sometime within the next year. “We are supposed to break ground in the next two to three weeks,” said Chris Knutson, owner-operator of Marthaler Honda. Majority owner Aaron Marthaler has eight dealerships throughout the U.S. “The big goal is to break ground before the end of July…The dealership should take about nine months in total from the time they break ground to the time they have a grand opening.”
