PFLUGERVILLE, Texas (KXAN) — The gas line leak that caused evacuations in Pflugerville on Wednesday evening was safely shut off, the City of Pflugerville said on social media.

“It is now safe for residents to return to their homes,” the city said.

The initial affected area was from Mallard Pond Trail to Hanging Rock Drive. However, the city said the roadway would remain closed until repairs could be completed.
