Man arrested with meth near casino
A Eupora man was arrested and charged after attempting to discard a container of methamphetamine during a traffic stop in in front of the casinos. The man, Stanley Box, 59, of 1132 MLK Drive, Eupora, was arrested and charged with resisting arrest and possession of a controlled substance, according to Neshoba County Sheriff Eric Clark.
Motorcycle driver stopped for littering
A man on a motorcycle was arrested on drug charges after he was spotted littering on Highway 16 West near Choctaw Central High School. The motorcycle rider, Andrew C. Holley, 30, of 10503 Road 541, Philadelphia, was arrested and charged with giving false ID information and possession of a controlled substance, according to Neshoba County Sheriff Eric Clark. Holley also had warrants for contempt of court and failure to appear, Clark said.
