An Italian marketplace and eatery is preparing to bring delectable food and grocery staples to the King of Prussia Mall. Beloved global chain, Eataly, will be making its regional debut in 2025, reports local media outlet Philly Voice.

The sprawling concept will be opening in the mall proper, at 160 North Gulph Road. King of Prussia mall is currently working to free up space to accommodate the planned 23,000 square feet that the Italian oasis will require.

An official opening date is not yet available, however Eataly anticipates greeting customers in early 2025. The King of Prussia location will mark the concept’s arrival in the Philadelphia region.

Eataly has achieved global success since its origination in 2007 in Italy. The establishment sells pantry staples ranging from fresh pasta to wine, as well as housing a bakery and butcher on site. The King of Prussia Eataly will be markedly smaller than the establishment’s other North American locations, which range from 45,000 to 50,000 square feet. It is not yet stated which features King of Prussia shoppers and eaters can look forward to, but to date, every United States Eataly has contained a La Pizza & La Pasta restaurant, making it very likely diners will be able to enjoy that establishment’s fare once the doors open.
