September 27, 1942 – March 15, 2024 - Martha Helen Wickliffe, born on September 27, 1942, in Philadelphia, PA, to Marvin "Pete" and Rachel Jones, peacefully passed away on March 15, 2024, at her home. Martha was surrounded by the love of her family as she journeyed into eternity.

Martha's life was marked by her deep love and lifelong partnership with her beloved husband, Robert "Bob" Wickliffe, whom she married on June 6, 1964. Together, they shared 60 remarkable years of companionship and love. Martha's passing, just three months after Bob's, serves as a testament to the profound bond they shared.

Raised in South San Francisco, Martha pursued higher education at the University of the Pacific and San Francisco State University. She cherished her academic experiences and made lifelong friendships.

Martha found joy in the simple pleasures of life, including tending to her farm animals, knitting, boating, camping, and bird watching. She was Bob's office manager as he began his career as a State Farm agent. She and Bob were very active throughout their lives with the United Methodist Church. Martha also provided unwavering support for her kids in many sports and activities, including, band, baton, dance team, 4-H, track, cross country and Boy Scouts.

Above all else, Martha was known for her unwavering devotion as a wife, mother and sister. Her selflessness, compassion, sense of humor and kindness touched the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Martha's memory will forever be cherished by her children, Chris (Erin) Wickliffe and Jodi Lee; her brother, Thomas Jones; and her beloved grandchildren, Addileen Wickliffe, Haven, Gabriel, and Ciena Lee. Though she has departed from this world, Martha's legacy of love and warmth will continue to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

In accordance with Martha's wishes, a private family gathering will be held to celebrate her life and honor her memory. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, in honor of Martha's battle with Alzheimer's disease.

Martha Helen Wickliffe will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. May she rest in eternal peace.
