A past story from Philadelphia Phillies first baseman Bryce Harper, recently shared by his current teammate, is going viral and turning heads.

The MLB superstar had one of his childhood tales recounted by teammate David Dahl, taking us back to when Dahl, at age eleven, went to Huntsville to watch a twelve-year-old Harper play in a tournament.

Harper’s performance was nothing short of legendary

"He went 12-for-12 with 11 home runs," said Dahl on MLB Network's "MLB Central ." "I remember telling my dad I need to get in the weight room. This guy is really good."

This incredible feat is a testament to Harper's natural talent and determination, traits that have defined his professional career.

From a young age, Harper displayed the skills and competitive edge that would eventually make him one of baseball's biggest stars.

He was drafted first overall in the 2010 MLB Draft and made his major league debut with the Washington Nationals at 19 years old.

While the former two-time MVP isn't hitting home runs every at-bat in the majors, he's been phenomenal for the Phillies lately.

Coming off back-to-back NLCS appearances, including a World Series appearance, Harper has been on fire to start this season.
