Free agent guard Kelly Oubre Jr ., has agreed to a two-year, $16.3 million deal to stay with the Philadelphia 76ers , sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

The deal includes a player option on the 2025-26 season for the Sixers' starting 2-guard, sources said.

Oubre, 28, was a surprise minimum signing by the 76ers last summer, but he turned into a reliable part of coach Nick Nurse's rotation, averaging 15.4 points and 5 rebounds.

Oubre, the 15th overall pick in the 2015 NBA draft, spent the first three-plus seasons of his career in Washington before playing for the Phoenix Suns , Golden State Warriors and Charlotte Hornets and then landing in Philadelphia.

ESPN's Tim Bontemps contributed to this report.
