PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police have released video of the shooting Monday night in the city’s Grays Ferry neighborhood that injured five men inside a Chinese food restaurant. Authorities hope the video’s mix of indoor and outdoor shots helps them identify the gunmen and their driver.

In the video, two men wearing masks, hooded sweatshirts and jeans are seen jumping out of a vehicle police have identified as a dark-colored, late-model Jeep Grand Cherokee around 10:30 p.m. Monday at the corner of 27th and Dickinson streets. They begin to fire into the business. The muzzle flashes are continuous.

One victim, who is standing outside, ducks away. And it seems someone returned fire — when the driver of the SUV pulls up to scoop the shooters, one of them is hopping on one foot, apparently injured. The other hops into the back seat.

Then, the car’s windows open, and there are more flashes of gunfire from what police say were semi-automatic weapons.

The video switches to blurred footage inside the restaurant. There’s chaos, people ducking for cover, including what appears to be a small child dressed in pink. When the video cuts back to the outside again, more flashes and more shots fired.

In total, five men were injured — three 21-year-olds, a 23-year-old and a 45-year-old — bullets through their legs and arms. All are expected to survive.

Anyone with information about the attack is asked to contact police. All tips will be confidential:
