Braves remind us of their potential in series win vs Philly

The Atlanta Braves are enjoying a long flight out West after taking the weekend series from the Philadelphia Phillies. The team was able to beat their rivals at home and showcase their power while doing so. After being quiet for most of the season, several of the team's stars showcased their home run swing.

Jarred Kelenic, Adam Duvall and Matt Olson all homered in the second inning of Sunday's 6-0 win. Duvall in particular needed the blast as he has been struggling mightily since being inserted into the everyday lineup due to injuries. The team also scored scored at least five runs in every game of the series.

The Braves continue to trail the Phillies in the NL East but clearly established they can hang with them this season. It remains unclear if they meet for a third straight season in the postseason where Philly was able to undo the Braves with stellar starting pitching.
