The Philadelphia 76ers lost elite shooting this offseason in guard Buddy Hield.

Hield decided to team up with the greatest shooter in history, Stephen Curry, on the Golden State Warriors. The former Sixer is thrilled by the idea of joining someone who he deems a superior shooter for the first time in his career.

Hield’s remark caught the attention of 76ers star Tyrese Maxey, who replied to the post, writing, “EHHHHHHHHHH🫣🫣🤣🤣@buddyhield.”

The 31-year-old guard is the hopeful heir to the second splash brother Klay Thompson. He signed with the Dallas Mavericks this summer. Many were critical of Hield’s shooting woes during the NBA playoffs with Philadelphia, so a bounce-back year is likely on his mind.

Alternatively, Maxey is showing no signs of going stagnant, meaning a further improved 3-point shot is well within the realm of possibilities.
