    Football is finally here.

    Well, kind of.

NFL training camp for most teams kicks off this upcoming week and for the Philadelphia Eagles, veterans and rookies report to NovaCare Complex on Tuesday.

To hype fans up for training camp, running back Saquon Barkley dropped a dope video on Twitter/X.

"Ready," Barkley captioned the video with two smoke face emojis.

From the looks of it, it looks like Barkley took zero days off this spring.

If watching the video doesn't make you want to run straight through a wall in mid-July... then you need to watch it again.

Barkley On Tap for Breakout Year

The Eagles invested big money into a running back during NFL free agency and signed Barkley to a three-year, $37.75 million deal.

Before joining the Birds, Barkley spent the first six seasons with the New York Giants stuck behind a weak offensive line. Regardless, he still managed to reach over 1,000 total rushing yards in four of his six NFL seasons.

Last fall, Barkley rushed for 962 yards and six touchdowns while also hauling in 41 passes for 280 yards in his sixth and final season with the Giants.

He's expected to exceed those numbers this season.

Looking back at Barkley's career, his best season came in 2018 when he recorded 1,307 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns. He isn't too far removed from his next best year which happened in 2022 when he achieved 1,312 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns.

Barkley getting back to his old form shouldn't be impossible since he is going to be running behind one of the most durable offensive lines in the league.

Sure, he won't be fortunate enough to have Jason Kelce anchoring the Eagles' offensive line. But he still gets to work alongside some of the NFL's other best blockers Lane Johnson, Jordan Mailata, and Landon Dickerson -- and that's more than enough to help him reach new heights in 2024.
