Philadelphia Eagles star lands on best in NFL over 30 list

The Philadelphia Eagles lost Jason Kelce this offseason, yet the locker room and on-field play will still benefit from one of the NFL’s best offensive linemen.

Eagles fans know this refers to Lane Johnson, though it’s still staggering to check in and see where he’s at—going into Year 12 at the age of 34.

That’s underselling it a bit, hence The 33rd Team naming Johnson one of the best players in the NFL over the age of 30, putting him right up there with heavyweight names like Travis Kelce, Chris Jones and Trent Williams.

Johnson, a Super Bowl champion, five-time Pro Bowler and two-time First-team All-Pro (the most recent in 2022), has made it clear since January that he has a few more years left, too.

Given that Johnson is under contract through 2026 and a near-career-ending ankle injury didn’t slow down his play, there’s no reason to think he can’t match the level of play that earns him All-Pro looks, that 80.9 PFF grade from last year and put on lists like this.
