PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (KCAU) – Offseason work is well underway in the NFL as many teams are making the transition to training camp, with Odebolt native and Philadelphia Eagles draft pick Cooper DeJean beginning that process on the sideline with an injury.

First reported by ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, DeJean will begin the Eagles training camp on the Non-Football Injury list and will be out for three weeks with a hamstring injury. The report mentions DeJean was “caught in an awkward position during offseason training”, according to a league source.

Philadelphia begins preseason play on August 9th against the Baltimore Ravens.
