A 23-year-old Philadelphia truck driver suffered minimal injuries Wednesday after a tractor-trailer rollover, South Londonderry Township Police said.

On July 24, police responded to the area of 1849 S. Forge Road for a single vehicle accident involving a tractor trailer. Andrew Bryce failed to negotiate a left curve roundabout between Hinkle and Airport Roads, and overturned his vehicle.

"The driver was hauling several 250-gallon drums filled with liquid soy lecithin which ended up spilling out of the trailer," police said in a release Thursday.

Bryce was transported to the Penn State Health Hershey Medical Center for treatment. Police said the road was closed for over 10 hours for cleanup and removal of the truck.

Campbelltown Volunteer Fire Company Lt. Jason Valentin told the Lebanon Daily News Wednesday that the truck was carrying a soy-based product that had spilled as a result of the crash. Roads were closed at Route 117 (S. Forge Road) between Hinkle and Airport Roads, including Northside Drive.

Western Lebanon County Regional Police Department, the Campbelltown Volunteer Fire Department, Fire Police, First Aid & Safety Patrol and the Lebanon County Hazmat Team assisted police on the scene Wednesday.
