Eagles' Bold Plan For All-Pro Corner Is Turning Heads

The Philadelphia Eagles are undergoing some big changes for next season. After a lackluster year, Philly is bringing in vaunted defensive coordinator Vic Fangio to organize their defense. With Fangio's arrival comes a major change for one of their top cornerbacks.

In his press appearance, Fangio revealed that the Eagles are giving All-Pro cornerback James Bradberry snaps at the safety position. It's an interesting change, but Fangio himself said that not everyone makes that transition easily.

"Eagles DC Vic Fangio said James Bradberry will still take some work at CB this camp, but they’ll see if he can play safety. Not all CBs can make that transition," Zack Berman posted.

Some fans are a bit confused on this decision, considering Bradberry's tackling woes.

After seeing what he's done last season, fans aren't convinced this is going to work.

It's an interesting move for the Eagles. Their secondary struggled last season, but they've compensated by adding more talent through the draft.

With the likes of Cooper deJean coming to the team, Fangio wants to try and move some pieces to make room. They likely won't force Bradberry to switch to safety full-time, but if he shows promise there... it's a real possibility.

After falling flat in the NFC Wild Card Round, the Eagles are out for revenge in 2024.
