Kim Mulkey, Hailey Van Lith Get Roasted After Costly Caitlin Clark Mistake Resurfaces

Nobody can deny that LSU women's basketball head coach Kim Mulkey has cemented herself as an all-time great.

Not only had Mulkey won four NCAA national championships (three at Baylor and one at LSU), but her whopping career 723-118 record as a head coach was enough to induct her into the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame in 2020.

Mulkey's most recent national championship trophy came when she was coaching Angel Reese in 2023.

Reese and Mulkey's Tigers returned to the Elite Eight in 2024, but were defeated by Caitlin Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes by a score of 94-87.

Clark, who finished the game with 41 points and 12 assists, was mostly guarded by Hailey Van Lith.

Which was not Mulkey's wisest move in hindsight.

Van Lith broke the internet during that game when a photo of her shrugging her shoulders in surrender after another Clark three hit the internet.

The photo has resurfaced on X Thursday. And fans are roasting Mulkey and Van Lith all over again.

Van Lith has since transferred to TCU.

Luckily for Mulkey, she'll never have to figure out how to stop Clark again.

Unless, of course, she decides to test the waters as a WNBA coach.
