Philadelphia, PA – Mayor Parker has signed two new bills aiming to improve public health and quality of life in the city and did so at the St. Christopher’s Children’s Hospital Thursday afternoon.

These public health bills are targeting the most vulnerable neighborhoods, with one allowing the city’s Department of Public Health to open a health center on the Friends Hospital campus in Northeast Philadelphia.

The second is an assessment bill that will allow public health services to expand to more cancer centers and children’s hospitals with minimal patient costs ranging from $5 to $20.
