Madden NFL 25 dropped its official top 10 ratings for running backs and Philadelphia Eagles' Saquon Barkley was among them.

Barkley fell in the top 5 at No. 4 with an overall 92 rating.

Only Baltimore Ravens' Derrick Henry (94), Cleveland Browns' Nick Chubb (96), and San Francisco 49ers' Christian McCaffrey (99) received higher ratings.

Madden NFL 25 Top 10 RB Ratings

    1. Christian McCaffrey, San Francisco 49ers (99 overall)

    2. Nick Chubb, Cleveland Browns (96 overall)

    3. Derrick Henry, Baltimore Ravens (94 overall)

    4. Saquon Barkley, Philadelphia Eagles (92 overall)

    5. Joe Mixon, Houston Texans (91 overall)

    6. Travis Etienne Jr., Jacksonville Jaguars (90 overall)

    7. Josh Jacobs, Green Bay Packers (89 overall)

    8. Kenneth Walker III, Seattle Seahawks (88 overall)

    9. Aaron Jones, Minnesota Vikings (88 overall)

    10. Isiah Pacheco, Kansas City Chiefs (87 overall)

Here's what the official Madden 25 ratings have to say about Barkley:

On Madden NFL 25, Saquon Barkley has an Overall Rating of 92 as a Superstar X-Factor with Elusive Back Archetype. His best Ball-carrier Attribute as Halfback is Carrying, with a rating of 94. Among his General Ratings, his Agility, Awareness, Jumping and Stamina Attributes standout, all with a rating of 94.

Barkley's Madden rating from last year was not too much different at 93 overall, best for fifth at the start of the 2023 season.

His 92 overall rating that he holds now should only continue to rise as the 2024 season goes on considering he's on tap to star in the Eagles' offense as a dual-threat bell cow.

The Eagles invested big money into Barkley when they signed him in NFL free agency to a three-year, $37.75 million deal.

Before joining the Birds, Barkley spent the first six seasons with the New York Giants stuck behind a weak offensive line. Regardless, he still managed to reach over 1,000 total rushing yards in four of his six NFL seasons.

Last fall, Barkley rushed for 962 yards and six touchdowns while also hauling in 41 passes for 280 yards in his sixth and final season with the Giants .

He's expected to exceed those numbers this season no that he's behind a more stable offensive line.
