From Jalen Hurts to A.J. Brown to Saquon Barkley, the Philadelphia Eagles have stars all over their roster. However, the newest one is officially a member of the front office.

On Friday, Aug. 2, Eagles beat reporter Olivia Reiner noticed an unusual job title, "Director of Joy," in the team's newly released 2024 media guide . As it turns out, that now belongs to the 2-year-old team dog, Reggie White Lurie.

The name, of course, is a nod to the late Eagles legend Reggie White and the family of Jeffrey Lurie, the team's owner.

After some sleuthing, Reiner discovered that the organization had also added the mini goldendoodle's headshot and biography to the team's official website.

The pup's bio reads, in part, "Reggie also provides support as the club's 'dawg mentality' ambassador, embodying a mindset that is preached by head coach Nick Sirianni to his players. ... A very good boy who was adopted prior to the start of the 2022 season, when Philadelphia advanced to Super Bowl LVII, Reggie enjoys eating chicken and being spoiled with treats."

Some of those closest to Reggie on a daily and weekly basis, the Philadelphia media, were among those overjoyed by the Eagles' sneaky move.

"Spectacular," wrote Eagles reporter John McMullen.

"They did it 😂😂😂," CBS Sports' Jeff Kerr posted on X .

It's a ruff job, but somebody has to do it.
