The biggest takeaway from ESPN's latest bombshell report about the Philadelphia Eagles surrounds the relationship between head coach Nick Sirianni and quarterback Jalen Hurts.

While many fans and analysts have once again jumped at the rumored reports of friction between the quarterback and head coach, the reality is that things have changed in Philadelphia.

And early returns are that they have changed for the better when it comes to the team's head coach.

It was reported that Sirianni had too much of an influence on the offense in 2023. Once the start of offseason workouts began for the Eagles the following season, Sirianni took full ownership of the team's poor finish.

"He took full responsibility, that he felt he let the team down and didn't do a good enough job of empowering the players," a team source told ESPN. "It was passionate and from the heart."

By Sirianni taking ownership and instilling accountability in himself, the Eagles roster has seemingly fallen in line during training camp. It's a big reason why the likes of Hurts and the young offense have appeared as strong as ever going into the new season.

With the hiring of Kellen Moore, Sirianni has taken a CEO-like approach to his coaching level and it's helped the Eagles turn the page from a disastrous 2023 season.

And it could very well get them back on the path to championship contention quickly.
