Sitgreaves Street Yard Sale Day Postponed - Rescheduled for FREE to Participate

The Phillipsburg Farmers Market is rain or shine - except in extreme weather. According to Elizabeth Judge Wyant, The Phillipsburg Farmers Market Manager, "The Farmers Market is rain or shine - except extreme weather - aka IF we see/hear lightning we close."

"With the threat of thunder this afternoon, we are postponing the Farmers Market's yard sales on Sitgreaves to next Sunday...Ppeople can bring their leftover stuff. Also it will be no charge."

The move to next week's sale on Sunday, originally scheduled to close of Sitgreaves Street will not be necessary, as people can setup with their own tables surrounding the park on the sidewalk.

The Townwide yard sale will continue through today, but residents are cautioned to bring indoors anything not secured. With today's forecast from Accuweather on TAPinto, for Phillipsburg, "A few thunderstorms, some severe; breezy and humid with some sun; thunderstorms can bring flooding downpours, hail and damaging wind gusts" is reported as the outlook for today.
