Seven LIU Women’s Water Polo Student-Athletes Earn MAAC All-Academic Honors
By: Aidan Heller BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) on Wednesday honored 40 LIU athletes from the men's lacrosse and women's water polo teams as 2023-2024 MAAC Academic Honor Roll recipients. Student-athletes who are named to the MAAC Academic Honor Roll must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or above for the previous school year. Ohio natives to look out for in 2024 Paris Summer Olympics
OHIO, USA — The 2024 Summer Olympics are almost here and there are plenty of Ohio natives to keep an eye on in Paris. According to Team USA, there are 17 athletes who qualified from the Buckeye State who will be sporting their red, white and blue. In a study done by LiveSportsOnTV, a website that provides schedules for streaming and TV sports, Ohio comes in 21st place in the country for the highest proportion of Olympians at the Paris games based on population size.
