    Lawsuit alleges agencies negligently missed red flags in child’s death in Chester County

    Family members are suing multiple agencies, alleging they missed red flags in the suspected child abuse death of 12-year-old Malinda Hoagland.

    Hoagland’s half-sisters said that one of the red flags includes that the girlfriend of Malinda’s father, who was helping care for the girl, had a previous child abuse conviction.

    Malinda’s father, Rendell Hoagland, and his girlfriend Cindy Warren are facing murder and other charges stemming from the girl’s death that happened back in May.
