New Jersey Transit’s fare holiday begins today!

Governor Phil Murphy made the announcement that all service will be free for a week to compensate for months of nightmare commutes.

All fares will be waived on all modes of NJ transit today through September 2.

If you’re a monthly pass holder and already bought an August pass, you will automatically get a 25% discount on the September pass.

The transit agency and Amtrak are also working together to improve service along the Northeast Corridor.

PATH and PATCO trains are not part of the fare holiday.
