Woman shot in NE Philly bank parking lot

Philadelphia Police are investigating a shooting that left a woman with a gunshot wound in a bank parking lot in Northeast Philadelphia.

The shooting which occurred at 8:58 a.m. at the Wells Fargo on 7345 Bustleton Ave, left a 61-year-old Black female with a gunshot wound to the left thigh.

Police immediately transported her to Jefferson-Torresdale Hospital where she is currently in stable condition.

At this time no weapon has been recovered and no arrest has been made.

The Philadelphia Police Department is urging anyone with information regarding this incident to contact the Northeast Detectives at 215-686-3153. You can also submit an anonymous tip at PPD’s tip line at 215-686-TIPS (8477).
