A new study shows the vast majority of Pennsylvania schools ‘regularly’ expose students to lead in their drinking water.

PennEnvironment collected data from nine school districts across the commonwealth through right-to-know requests.

These schools were selected based on factors including size and location.

The study said Bethlehem, Norristown, Upper Darby, and West Chester school districts failed to protect children.

The report claims Bethlehem Area School District and West Chester Area School District only tested a few of their outlets for lead, rather than all of them.
