Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker looks unrecognizable in NBA offseason as he trains alongside beloved pet dog

NBA star Devin Booker likes to display his softer side during the offseason and that usually involves showing off his beloved pet dog.

Phoenix Suns point guard Booker has posted a picture of himself during training on Instagram, with shirt off and accompanied by his faithful Cane Corso, Haven.

It is not unusual at all for Booker to show off pictures of them together on social media.

And fans can’t get enough of their happy union.

“I love how he is always with his dog,” a fan said recently when Booker posted a picture of them on the water while in a rowing boat.

“I wanna meet haven he’s such a badass,” another person wrote.

“You look like great companions for each other,” a third fan said.

“He cares so much for his dog, I love it,” a fourth fan said.

The 27-year-old has had the dog since the Covid-19 pandemic first struck in 2020.

With so many people restricted to time at home, Booker has explained he felt the timing to adopt the dog was ideal.

“I got him the day when it went down,” Booker said.

“We had a five-day homestand then, so I thought it’d be a good time to bring a dog and try to get acquainted.

“It’s been a good time getting to know each other.”

Booker said he took inspiration from his dog for designing the latest Nike Book 1 “Haven” sneakers.

Booker played college basketball with Kentucky.

He has been with the Suns in the NBA for nearly a decade.

He was selected with the 13th overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft.

He has four times been an NBA All-Star, including this year.

The Suns bowed out in the first round of the playoffs however, losing to the Minnesota Timberwolves .

Booker also played in the United States team that won Olympic gold in the delayed Tokyo Games of 2021.

As well as his dog, he also has a collection of vintage Chevrolet cars.

Booker followed in his father Melvin’s footsteps – he played in the NBA in the 1990s.
