On Sunday afternoon, Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever stunned Brittney Griner and the Phoenix Mercury with an 88-82 win. The Fever improved to 8-12, while the Mercury fell to 9-9.

In a postgame interview, Fever forward Aliyah Boston spoke to the media about the real challenge of facing Griner, hinting that Griner's height makes her a difficult matchup.

"It definitely was a battle. I mean, it's hard. BG, she's talented, and when she puts that ball above her head, it's tough to get there. I just try my best to make it hard for her to catch it. Trying not to be mad when she made some shots because that's what she's going to do," Boston said.

For the game, Boston recorded 17 points on 6 of 9 shooting, eight rebounds, and four assists. Griner tallied 24 points, six rebounds, and two assists. Clark nearly notched a triple-double but fell one rebound short.
