The Phoenix Suns have been linked to six-time NBA All-Star Kyle Lowry, per Gerald Bourguet on X. The 38-year-old point guard competed with both the Philadelphia 76ers and Miami Heat during the 2023–24 season. The six-time NBA All-Star was traded to the Sixers during the NBA's trade deadline and is now a free agent.

During his time with the Heat and Sixers in the 2023–24 season, Lowry averaged 8.1 points and 4.2 assists. The 2019 NBA champion dealt with a plethora of injuries, including that to his elbow, ankle, and knee, all in the last year.

Phoenix has been searching for a point guard, especially a guard who holds a defensive identity. Lowry and Kris Dunn were closely connected to the organization, but Dunn recently signed a short-term deal with the Los Angeles Clippers.

Lowry can still be a serviceable piece for a franchise despite being at the tail end of his career. He's known to have a great locker room presence, and experience like his, having been in the league since 2006, is invaluable.

The former All-NBA player would be teaming up with two of the most elite scorers in the league, Kevin Durant and Devin Booker.

It's unknown how deep in discussion Lowry and his party are with the Suns or if they've been in contact, but the interest is there from Phoenix.
