Diana Taurasi, Sabrina Ionescu Team USA WNBA All-Star Weekend Interaction Turns Heads

The 2024 WNBA All-Star Weekend is now underway.

All of the best women's basketball players in the world are congregating in Phoenix, Arizona for the All-Star Weekend competitions that commence tomorrow.

And this year's All-Star extravaganza is made even more exciting because it will feature a showdown between the Team USA Olympics squad and the Team WNBA team, that's comprised of All-Stars that didn't make the Paris 2024 Olympics roster.

But before that competition begins, the women on both teams will get opportunities to meet each other and start practices.

The WNBA's social media team posted a video showcasing a number of interactions between Team USA players on Thursday.

And one between Mercury legend Diana Taurasi and Liberty star Sabrina Ionescu has caught a lot of attention.

In the video, Taurasi is seen with her arm slung around Ionescu's shoulders seemingly joking about Ionescu to someone off camera.

A few moments later, Taurasi and Ionescu wrap their arms around each other's shoulders once again and appear to pose for a photo.

Wholesome stuff from the future Paris 2024 Olympics teammates.
